Sensor-Assisted Hand and Arm Rehabilitation
The Pablo system is a sensor-assisted therapeutic device offering a wide range of options for children and adults with neurologically or orthopedically caused impairments of the upper and lower limbs. Pablo is especially user-friendly and can be easily and quickly integrated into therapy and assessment processes. Additional system extensions allow for active patient engagement during hand rehabilitation and the development of new therapeutic options.
The Pablo system opens up new perspectives and opportunities for motor rehabilitation. The core components of the wireless Pablo system include the Pablo Hand Sensor, Pablo Motion Sensors, Pablo Multiball, and Pablo Multiboard.
- The wireless Pablo hand sensor allows the measurement of grip and release force, as well as finger pinch strength and range of motion. Additional motion sensors provide a variety of therapy possibilities.
- Pablo Multiball trains pronation and supination of the forearm, as well as wrist extension and flexion. Even in early stages of rehabilitation—such as flaccid hemiparesis—targeted exercises are possible using the Multiball.
- Pablo Multiboard can be used for repeated exercises targeting distal and proximal joints—either single or multiple joints at once.
Hand and Palm Rehabilitation
Designed to be exceptionally compact and user-friendly, the Pablo system offers well-considered therapeutic options for both functional-level and activity-level interventions. It is ideally suited for treating children and adults with neurological, orthopedic, or age-related impairments of the hands, arms, torso, and legs.
The tyro S software is a central part of the system. This therapeutic software includes specialized exercises for use with Pablo, along with a reporting and documentation system for therapeutic purposes. Interactive therapy modules make Pablo a motivating and versatile tool in the field of hand and palm rehabilitation.
